This 10" Dinner Plate is exquisite. This Dinner Plate alone retails over SG$90 here. So this is a good price to pay for all 7 pieces of the items listed here.

All of these Old Country Roses 7-piece Dinner Service are factory Firsts. There are no scratches, cracks or chip to be found anywhere. There is also no evidence of restoration work. All are Brand New and have been displayed in my cabinet since I got them. This is an absolute must-have-item on your dinner table this holiday season.

Every item has the unmistakable Montrose design. The Plates and Saucers have scalloped edges. The signature English Red, Yellow and Pink Tea Roses in full bloom surrounds each piece beautifully. Topped with the 22k Gold banding adds an elegant finish around each rim, handle and foot. Only the Tea Cup is made in Indonesia, all other items are Made in England in Sir Henry Doulton's House at the old Stoke-on-Trent factory.

So far, there are about 150 million pieces of the Old Country Roses design sold worldwide. Because of this, there are many "copy-cats" of the Old Country Roses pattern around. Whenever you buy a Royal Albert item, please look for the stamp of authenticity at the back of EACH item. For the older pieces, if there is no backstamp on the item, it would indicate that they are of seconds quality. For the newer items, now, EVERY piece has a full backstamp on them. If there is none, then quite possibly, the item is a copy or a fake.

You may SELF-COLLECT the item from my home in Yishun ONLY. NO meeting in public places. Please call in advance to fix a convenient time for us to meet. Overseas buyer is to pay by PAYPAL ONLY in SINGAPORE CURRENCY (SGD), thank you. I just read that the Singapore Post Office does not allow for postage charges to be listed. Therefore, I have taken down the Postage List to overseas, sorry. Please ask for the estimate postage charge BEFORE you make a bid. I can only give you a CONFIRMED postage charge after auction is over because I might be able to combine items on multiple wins up to a maximum weight of 10-20kg (depending on your postage zone). You would have to sign for all the boxes that you receive as prove that the items arrived safely to you. Insurance is available upon request. Please note that postage cost to some countries are just to expensive. If you have your own courier service or know of any cheaper alternative courier, please tell me so BEFORE you make a bid. I will try to accommodate your shipping request whenever possible. I will pack the items as securely as the box will allow me to. To save on cost, I will use recycled materials where ever possible.
