There is no doubt about it – Elizabeth Arden Modern SkinCare ‘Clear the Way’ Mask is superb for exfoliating your face. Clocking in at around £15 for 100ml, it is admittedly rather pricey and definitely something I wouldn’t normally buy just because of that cost, but I was lucky enough to get a tube from my Mum because she used to run an Elizabeth Arden counter in our local department store. There are two ways you can use Clear the Way. You can use it either as a facial scrub or a face mask. I have used it as both, depending on how much time I have.

The mixture is fairly thick – sort of like toothpaste but less sticky – and is a light plastery blue colour with a slightly grainy texture. It comes in a squeezy tube through which you can see the colour of the mixture.

To use it as a facial scrub, you first need to rinse your face with warm water, leaving it wet. Then massage the mixture into your face. Use however much you need (which isn’t much), keep massaging it in for however long you feel is necessary and then rinse it off
