Book Synopsis

Fourteen-year-old Clare lives with her two aunts at 40 Norham Gardens, a vast eccentric Victorian house whose rooms are filled with old papers, old clothes and antiquated furniture. For Clare it is a shadowy, disturbing time. She has discovered a shield in the attic, brought back from New Guinea by her great-grandfather seventy years ago. Now her dreams are haunted by images of New Guinea, and it eventually falls to Clare to lay the ghost of an encounter between a Victorian anthropologist and a Stone Age, New Guinea tribe.

Within 5 days from close of auction, please respond to us on the mailing details and effect the transfer. Should we not receive a response, the item will be resubmitted and an appropriate rating will be given to the bidder accordingly.

Items sold are neither exchangeable nor refundable.

Preferred Payment Mode

The preferred payment mode will be via a bank transfer to our DBS savings account. Items will be mailed out within 2 days upon receipt of the transferred funds.

Postage

Buyers are only required to bear the standard Singapore postage fee for the items (based on the weight and size of parcel).
